SUZANNE SCHUSTER, LMSW
Suzanne Schuster is a licensed therapist in both Connecticut and New York. She graduated from SUNY Albany and Hunter College School of Social Work. Suzanne received specialized training in evidence-based treatments focused on finding solutions. She works with a wide range of clients from adolescents, adults, parents, and business people. Her focus is to understand each client’s unique presentation to improve coping strategies while creating an environment of acceptance and empathy.
She believes in working collaboratively to create a treatment approach to individualized needs and experiences. Treatment plans can include a combination of cognitive-behavioral techniques, stress reduction techniques, and exploratory psychotherapy.
Suzanne has worked in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and schools, to individuals struggling with interpersonal, behavioral, academic, or career pressures. She helps clients focus on resilience with a strong emphasis on improving self-esteem.
Suzzane’s mission is to provide the highest quality of care, and clients often see a reduction of symptoms and improved well-being early on in treatment.
She is a member of the National Association of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapists and New York City Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Association.
